Ellen Caroline Dunn married John Coe Payne in 1850 probably in Maldon.  I am looking for her birth but have had no luck so far.

I had a look at the Genuki website, to Ware, said the St Mary parish registers are covered by the IGI - had a look, found the above, then googled Great Amwell and discovered it is near Ware.  Father's name is Salisbury Dunn.  Mum's name is there too.  It is taken from parish registers so a reasonable accurate guide to the info.

It is not unusual for the age in census and documents to be a little out in those times. This is pretty close.

You probably have this from FreeBMD, if you get the marriage registration it will tell you her father's name.
