Ev, your family looks spot on  :)

From the 1901 census, this looks like Alexander and new wife:

Alexander McKenzie 30, Baker Journeyman, b. Ellon
Maggie Mary McKenzie 24, b. Newmains, Lanarkshire

Address: No 1 Lochview Cott, Cambusnethan

Hi Gordon,
I knew a family of Mckenzies' from Cambusnethan, 2 of the brothers were bakers, Roddy and Angus, the other brother Andrew (Andra) had a grocers shop in Motherwell. Andra's grandson is a professional footballer with Livingston F.C.

I wonder if it is the same family?
I used to hear Roddy say that as a family, they lived in a house at the foot of the Kirk Brae, just at the corner of Coltness Road. All those brothers have passed away now.
