If you are Researching a family of Burns  i have a Henry Burns,who would love to have some parents!
Birth year 1856

Do you know where he was born? It might help somebody to find him  :)

have you looked at the Your Surname Interests  to see if there is any one asking about a Henry BURNS of that birth year?

Entering your surname interests there is also a good idea.

Hello trumli,

If you obtain the birth certificate of Henry BURNS b 1856, you should find information about his parentage.

If you do not wish to do this, it would help if you were to post all the information you have about this particular Henry BURNS.  Especially where he came from and any later information you have about him.

This would help RootsChatters to find him.  Depending on which country he came from he might be able to be located with his parents in a census (especially - say - in 1861 if he was in the UK).
