Trenerry

Hi i'm a newbie.
I am looking for the Trenerrys which were born in the Crook, Howden-le-wear, Co. Durham area. Also if anybody knows where Joseph ad Emily Trenerry are buried. I have Sarah and Samuel Trenerrys' resting place.
I have managed to go back to 1801 in Cornwall, (with possible links to John Trenerry 1535ish).
Also if anyone has info on a John Parkin (brickwall) b. 1840 Helm Park (Durham)-who married a Hanson.
I would be ever so grateful, so that I can gain some of my sanity.

Joseph trenerry was born in Rejarrah, Cornwall 1830 and died in Howden-le-wear 1912. He married Emily Lampier (b. 1831. perranzabuloe, Cornwall)  and she died 1908. They moved to the Durham Pits around 1874. (as James, Josephs Father died June 1874 Cornwall, Nanny, James wife  died 1852 aged 49 yrs, she was a Trenery by birth)
Their Son Samuel (my line) married Sarah Raine from Howden-le-wear. I know Samuel and Sarah along with two of their sons are burried in st, Marys, Howden.
Samuel and Sarahs first child was John James b. 1881 (howden-le-wear).
I would like to know if anyone knows where Joseph and Emily are buried. I have a Photo of John James (Jack) and his wife Cora Davison (my G.Grandparents). I am wondering if anybody has any photos of Samuel and Joseph, or any stories about the family.
My Granda who is still with us can remember Samuel and Sarah but has no memories of Joseph, just that they came to Durham for better work and living conditions.

I wonder how common the name Trenery is?

I transcribed a letter (dated 1820) for a friend yesterday.  It was written by Charles Townsend from No 24 Great Saffron Hill, London.  He was writing to his son Edward, who happened to be overseas at time, about all the family news, and mentioned are uncle and aunt Trenery, who according to the letter, had recently lost a son John who fell overboard from a ship which was due to set out for the West Indies.

A quick look at Multi Maps and Genuki would sugest Durham as the best bet. There are several denominational churches there.Try Genuki for contact addresses.

Hi Jayson from my research the Trenery/ Trenary and Trenerry names originate from Cornwall, Perranzabuloe/ St Allen/ St. Newlyn East.
A lot of Trenery's did emigrate to the new worlds, John is a common name through the families.
I always wonderd why Joseph picked Durham when there was free emigrant ships.

Joseph Trenerry and Emily Lampier are my great great grandparents.Their son William Henry born 1853  is my great grandfather and he married Mary Jane Piper in 1874. Unfortunately I am not able to help with the burial places you were requesting. I have previously made contact with a relative of Joseph and Emily's daughter Elizabeth born 1865 who married a William Varty. I have not really got much further back than James and Nanny.The family moved from Cornwall and James and Emily were living in Front Street Howden-le-Wear in the 1881 census.Would beinterested to hear from you.
