Well, do you know I used to spend a fair bit of time in that neck of the woods when my sisters were attending Griffith Uni,and I'm very familiar with Klumpp Road  :D :D :D
What a small world  :)

Let me know how you get on with accessing the articles.

Cheers

i had a bit of trouble getting in to the National Library using your address but I did find the articeles and I am about to sit down and read them. What a small world, I lived for the first 20 years of my life not far from Klumpp Road just down the road near the Garden City Shopping Centre.

Well have a good day. Hope to hear from you again.

Hi 1952
I also am descended from Gottlieb.  I have quite a lot of information about him.  Have a family history website about the Klumpps if you are interested.

Hi Jilly

It is nice to hear from someone who is  related to Gottleib and YES I am very interested in the website. Could you please send me the web address. It is funny to hear from you as a friend of mine just contacted me to say that she meet a Robert Cummingham who is also related to Gottleib. I don't know yet which side of the family, whether it is Henry, Frederick, Sophie or John. I will let you know.

Thank you
o1952

Robert is my first cousin.  I am descended from Friederich through his son Frederick. My website is http://mywebsite.bigpond.com/ijfreshwater/chart.html
This will take you straight to the family tree.  I have wirtten about the direct family members that I knew.

Are you descended through Henry?  Or are you an Anger?

Hi Jilly

Thanks you for the website address, I will look it up.

I am meeting Robert tomorrow at my friends place so that we can compare what information we have and I will say hello to him for you.

Henry William Klumpp was my Great Grandfather and his daughter Martha Julia  married John Trim. They were my Grandparents. Their youngest son Colin Charles married Edith Emily Kettle, my parents. I am Olwyn, their youngest daughter.

I will see if I have any information that you don't after looking at the website and arrange to send it.

Speak to you tomorrow.
Olwyn

Did you go to the Klumpp Reunion in 1983 ( I think)?
Give Robert my love.  I saw him last December.
I have you and your children on my tree.  The information was all collected when we were getting ready for the Reunion.
Are you in touch with Lorraine Jordan (not her married name)?

Hi Jill

Yes, I was at the Klumpp Reunion in 1983 and wouldn't it be nice to have another reunion some day?

No, I am not in touch with Lorraine Jordan and I don't know her married name if she has one. Maybe my brother and sister know, so I will ask them.

I will give Robert your love today.

What a small world it is? To come across 2 relative on the same day who know each other and turn out to be cousins of mine.

Will talk again.

Olwyn

Lorraine's married name is Locke.  She arranged the family reunion.  She still lives in Mt Gravatt.
