St. Thomas Mount is in Chennai Madras India

It is deemed to be a holy place, the British came in the 17th Century,
I believe the Royal Artillery had a station there for many years.
Could there have been a military marriage?

Marjorie R. Addington married 1910 at St. Thomas Mount - (wherever that might be)  :-\

Just read BattyB's post again and note initials are C or G  :-\


Marjorie Ruth Addington married Col. Oscar Mark Harris.

She was the daughter of the 4th Viscount Sidmouth.

Sounds a possibility for the photograph - as Puck found, St. Thomas Mount was an Army station in India (Madras).
