MURPHY NEWTOWN NEAR BANTRY
« on: Friday 06 March 09 09:04 GMT (UK) »
Anyone have any connection to MURPHY's who owned 330 acres at Newtown, near Bantry? circa 1780s. JOHN MURPHY was my 3xgt gfr and his son was Rev,John Murphy Treasurer of Diocese, married to Alicia Smith.

I can add a little more to Murphy at Bantry. Michael Murphy owned a mill and a Brewery at DONEMARK. Any more info avail. I believe he is my 4xgt gfr.
