The IGI on familysearch is a first port of call for all of us. It is not full coverage so you may not be lucky but often the baptisms and marriages are there. Just be wary if they are member submitted records which may be pure guesswork. The extracted ones are generally reliable though it is always best to look at the original. Have you looked at the tips on our beginners' board?
As this was obviously quite a wealthy family you should look for wills too.

is well worth a look for Hugh (assuming he died pre 1858) but if nothing shows up there then try the York Probate office for John's will in 1880ish.
He should show up in Sussex in 1841 as he was in Amberley but I cannot find him. Perhaps a new post on the Sussex board asking for a specific look up then might be fruitful? Give as much information about the children as you can and someone may find them.

John Robinson was my GGGreat Grandfather, his son George being my GGGrandfather then his son Henry, his daughter Ruth and then my Mother Margaret. Are you a relative?

Apologies but I am not a relative of John Robinson. I was doing some research fora friend who thought that he was related, but it was another John Robinson from York, not your more illustrious one.
