Thank you both so much, I wouldn't have got as far as I have without people like you helping me!

Jones in 1901 - age and date would have made her born 1852 which is a bit out and I dont know where she was born in London, could have been Islington!

The death in 1902 could have been her.
The child death is a possibility, her mothers name was Martha so that maybe where that came from.

Mother in law on 1901 would have been Martha not Susannah, also Martha was born in Derby and Ada London (I believe).

I'm not sure if she emigrated, Carol. I have the bearest information about her, sorry.

Thank you again.

I thought I understood it this morning, Xin, but now I'm not so sure. I made the mistake of putting Joby Hibbard into Ancestry and then looking at who had him on their tree. Well Mel has along with 5 other's. One has his wife as Martha Gregory and another has Martha Watson as his wife. From what I have found out in the past, Jabez's mother was Martha Watson and his father was Thomas Hibbard.

This will take some thinking about. I might email my cousin in the morning and ask her if Jabez and Joby are one and the same or 2 different people!

Thanks again for your help Xin, I'll let you know if I find the answer!

the only reason I didnt think they were the same person is due to the 'trade' they followed.
If I remember right one was a greengrocer and the other an Iron Moulder....

all the best with it..
