Regarding Moores lost at sea .There were two lost in ,I think, 1862 .They were C.Moore aged 48 and Michael Moore 16. Both were on the  Wexford schooner "Maria" that went down with all hands off Hook Head . The elder More was mate on the vessel and the younger was the ship's boy. Father and son ,perhaps ?

I should have mentioned that there were three others lost with the Moores. They were Captain J.Carr ,who also owned the ship and two unnamed men that they had picked up in Waterford . As far as I know it was never discovered who those two men were .
