Hi Chris,

I've just been looking back at some of the replies and I see that MattD30 asked about Hannah & Daniel and your reply #255 answers some of my query.  I doubt that Ann has a headstone but would be grateful if you could check for me.  Thanks.

Hi there

Did you mean the following:

1871   March   14   Wells   Ann   f   Union   42

Did you  notice the word union, short for Union Workhouse

Therefore no headstone or marker of any kind

Sorry

Hi Chris
I'd be grateful if you could tell me if you have any information on the Davis' and Bridg(e)mans

I know my great great grandfather, Charles Davis was buried there in 1887.
Also 3x great grandmother Mary Ann Davis in 1868
Do they have headstones?
I'm also particularly interested in Caroline Emma Davis, died 1908. Wife of Charles
Their son Alfred John Davis. Year of death not known and his wife Annie Margaret, died 1928

As for the Bridgman's, as it's a less common name I'm interested in any buried there
I know William was in 1876. My 3x great grandfather. He was pulled alive as a child from the 1836 Lewes Avalanche. His sister and step mother both unfortunately perished. They were buried at South Malling along with the other victims
William's wife was a Susannah, died 1909

Thanks, Peter
