Don't worry about improving this one as the Regts are quite patent...
When I say "New Army" I mean that he wasn't one of the "Old Contemptibles" and was a volunteer under Kicheners plan to form a "Citizen Army" ("Britons! Needs You!" etc) to back fill the already growing losses in what was basically a very small "colonial police force"
What records that remain after he German bombing of them in 1940, are available via Kew or Anpestry.
A medal card would be the best place to start, as you have (I presume!) names already, and now you have a Regt to narrow them down.
