Any advice on finding the death certificate for the above would be welcome. Family oral history tells that he was born in London around 1842 and died in Glasgow in 1896. I have him on the 1881 and 1991 census. By 1901 census his wife is described as a widow but Scotland's people have no sign of his death certificate despite playing around with dates etc.
Thank you Les275

Hi Les275

His son born 1872 was also named Robert Arthur Burton BUSWELL?

Have you documentation showing  the father & son shared exactly the same name?
The IGI has extracted record of the son's birth - showing parents as Robert BUSWELL and Jessie NICAL.

Cheers
