Question
Seering Hall Matthews (died 14th Jan 1892) and his wife Jane Elizabeth are buried in Reading Old Cemetery, Reading, Berkshire.
We are leading a project commemorating people buried in the cemetery and we came across Mr Matthews. His epitaph says that he was 'Clerk of Works for R.E. dept). If you would like to share information about his life story, we would be interested to know and publish on the site:
www.readingoldcemetery.uk.
I am a new member and cannot send a PM yet.
Thank you

I have prepared two genealogy reports (ancestors and descendants) that I can send to you and have got them ready as PDFs
These will explain the strange first name of Seering
I do not wish to make these details public on this site
Please can you give me an email address I can send them to as attachments
Do the graves of Seering and his wife give their respective date of births?
Are you able to take photos of the gravestones for me?
Thanks
Gerry
