Gledhill and Barker ancestors

My ggggrandparents were Nancy Gledhill , b. 1789 and Joseph Barker b. 1781 in Battyford They married 1806 in Mirfield Parish church,

Would be interesting to come in contact with any decendents. Nancy and Joseph had the following.
       Ann,b.1806
       George,, b.1807. He married Mary Blackburn 1839, Mirfield
       Jane , b.1809
       Mary, b.1812
       Daniel, b. 1815
       Martha, b. 1817 ( my gg grandmother) married Joshua Sykes, 1837,
       Huddersfield.

George Barker and Mary Blackburn had the following.


       Emma b. 1837, Mirfield. Married, Samuel Firth1868, Mirfield
       Matilda b. 1840, Mirfield,  Married, Enoch Henry Archer 1864

Matilda Barker and Enoch Archer had the following.
       Emily b.1871, Dewsbury
       George Henry, b. 1876 Dewsbury

I have trees for both Barkers and Gledhills that were given me a few years back and have studied them both and so far am assuming they,re correct.
However it would be great to exchange information with anybody who is connected to either Barker or Gledhills.

Does anyone have connections to Gledhill family in Awkley or Aukley Doncaster?
I have a George Gledhill who was born in 1801 in Awkley and wife Sarah born 1799 Gateford Nottingham. They lived in Wickersley Rotherham district. Can only find 2 children George born about 1830 Wickersley and Martha born Aug 11  1823. I can't find marriage details of Sarah and George or anything about George senior parents siblings etc..

Cant see any connection to my Gledhills. Mine started in Barkisland then on to Hartishead, and my Nancy Gledhill was born in Battyford.

Nancy Gledhill, parents were Joshua Gledhill and Nancy Walker, m. 1772. There were 3 sons, George, b. 1773, James, b.1780 and Joshua b. 1786. Any connection?

My Gledhills were Dewsbury and Batley I believe but my closest links lived and worked in Leeds from 1850s onwards.

Hello, Mary,

I have a pretty full tree back from your Joseph to Thomas Barker b abt 1562, which covers my Barker family from Foldhead, Mirfield, as well. I assume your Joseph was son of Daniel? My line goes through Isaac Jr if you've come across him.

I'm trying to sort out some later descendants, in particular which Joseph was the father of Joshua b 1800, who lived at Three Oaks, Mirfield. If we can help each other, that would be great!
