Help: 1881 enumeration district - have street address

Can anyone help me identify what enumeration district I need to search to locate an address in the 1881 Census? I have been unable to locate a John Henry Tonge in the 1881 Census name search but have his marriage certificate that contains the following.
Date of Marriage 28 April 1881
Residence at time of marriage 6 Sarah St.
Marriage cert. indicates married at Christ Church in the Parish of Beswick
District of Prestwich.
Spent the day going through Prestwich and Beswick and can't find any Sarah St.
Not sure how I triangulate to find an enumeration district in the Ecclesiastical District of Christ Church. The Bride's family lived in Ardwick on Tipping st...if this helps. (first time at trying to search by address/Parish vs by names).
Big thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Hi Tonge,
The 1881 census is searchable by address on
www.ancestry.co.uk
(However I can only find a
Sarah Ann
Street, which is in Christ Church district ... but there isn't a John Henry Tonge at number 6
)

Dear Tati,
Thanks for the speedy response. I had also found also the Sarah Ann St. but with the different name and no known names at the address not sure if there might be another enumeration district in the area with a Sarah Street.
..I just recently joined ancestry.co.uk...and have not seen the page where you can search by street yet - can you send me the url for that page.
Thanks again for your help.

It only works for the 1881 census, unfortunately.
It's here for me
http://content.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=7572
but you may have to "switch back to old search experience" or whatever they call it.

Thanks Tati.
I'll try that URl using the old experience set-up.
I hauled some old maps off my shelf and see that there is a Sarah Street on a 1905 map running north south just east of the Bradford Recreation Ground and east of Barmouth Street. The layout on the map suggests it is in Beswick Ward - but perhaps another enumeration district?

I've found him! He's under John Hy Tonge, 6 Sarah St, Bradford, Lancs. Born c 1860, a boarder, born Ardwick.
I just put
6 Sarah St
in the address box, county Lancashire
Perrins - Manchester and Staffs
Honan - Manchester and Ireland
Hogg - Manchester 19 cent
Anderson - Newcastle mid 19 cent
Boullen - London then Carlisle then Manchester
Comer - Manchester and Galway

Fantastic
Just for the record - may come in handy some other time - the 1881 census is also searchable by
occupation
on ancestry.

Tremendous! Thanks to the both of you - this has been one of my strays for some time.
Also nice to now know one can search the 1881 in ancestry from some more vantage points.
Cheers - Barry
