Hi Lewis, welcome to Roots.
I agree with what has been said, take a slow tour...
I nearly freaked when I saw what there was on this site, as the one I was used to was minuscule compared to what is here.
Slowly, slowly, and more than anything, enjoy yourself.
Good luck in your research,
Paula

Hi Lewis, as you see here.. I just kind of but in [anywhere] because i am always lost! but these peeps here are soooo understanding believe me [and patient too!] they must be to have put up with all my mass confusions[on all my boards here] also just keep asking,, that is what I do when I get stuck[quite often] I still get lost everywhere on all sites...what do you want to know next then? It took me 4 months to get my surnames added.. and i still am wondering how to add some morte? thats how lost I get! best of fun, and best of luck on researches  regards from Diane, in OZ from Wales.

I would think that RootsChat will eventually produce some positive results. Someone will eventually respond to my posts--maybe today, tomorrow, next week, next month or even a few years from now. It's sort of like playing a lottery. I recently answered a seven year old post on another message board and met a cousin living in Australia. We are both researching the same family and now we frequently exchange information via email.
