I am a very new member of Rootschat and what can I say! The best thing since sliced bread? Cool? Fab?
In only a week, I have become acquainted with ancestors, their lives and their fortunes in more detail that I’d hoped. Particular thanks to Steve and Sue who have helped me in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire but to all you learned folk who are so generous and helpful with your time and info, may I say a huge thank you.

The messages are interesting to read, the links very useful, everyone is so friendly and it’s much more entertaining than the tele.

“Rootschat - long may you last!”

Hello:
As a new user of this site. All I can say is that it is brillant!!!!!  I posted a message and got a reply and my brick wall was broken down!!! I had been stuck for years!!!  Thank you to everyone who has helped me.  I feel I have been able to repay back as I have help a few people my self.  I think genealogy is the best hobby to have as I have met lots of very nice people over the years some have become very close friends!!
