I voted "Yes" ... I have had some excellent help on here and hoping that another ancestor will find me on here.

Thanks to Rootschat, I have found an elusive ancestor and able to put twigs on their branch of the family.

It is great how we are kept up-to-date with new sites to persue.

Have also had the opportunity to meet a fellow Rootschatter. :D

Hi And thank's ROOTS CHATTERS , with the help I have received Both with my Question's, Dating photos and military  history But special thanks  To Nell who found my Lancashire family, Smittie and old gobbo  for putting me in the middle of my families military history both helping a novice  and giving me help in finding more,
Not forgeting the ones in the chat room that as also invited my in and answered my question;s would be lost with out you all     Thanks to you all xx

Yes definitely.  :) I only discovered this site by chance about two weeks ago and signed up immediately, it has already been a great help to me, or I should say, fellow rootschatters have been a great help to me as I consider myself a novice having only started my FH research last May.

RootsChat has definitely been a help to me and I've learnt a lot too.  Its great also when you can help somebody else - makes you feel like you are putting something back...... I just wish I could speed up a bit with my look-ups  :-\  ::)

I have just put an old (1896) photo on the site for restoration and enhancement, another big help to researchers from Rootschat.
