Just come back to this thread after a long time  :)

I'm puzzled by the 2 who think that Roots won't be of any help and wonder why they think that  :-\

There is no helping some people they want you to do the research for them >:(
I am just grateful that there is selfless people out there that will take the time out to help a total stranger i have not been doing research long myself and find it frustrating that i cannot help as much as i would like too, :-[ :-[
I just wish i had started this years ago  :)

I can't begin to say how much RC has helped me - it has been amazing and i can't thank the people who have helped me enough.

I am thoroughly looking forward to the day when my skills improve so i can repay the debt.

Happy New Year everyone - we have the best, most rewarding hobby there is.

WELCOME to all the newbies.

Absolutely !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   This has to be the friendliest, most helpful and funniest Group !!!!!!   When you get tired of the brickwalls, there are lots of funny threads to read.  Makes my day.

And to think I came across this site quite by accident whilst doing  research for my book ;).  I read and read and read and couldn't drag myself away.  I was well and truly hooked.  As soon as I started posting messages, I had the most wonderful response and the help was unbelievable.  I don't have to tell you that my book was pushed aside ;D.    I have made the most amazing friends and have found a number of cousins too.  I LOVE Rootschat.com.  It's my home !!!

I'm always surprised by the number of people you can see online (at the bottom of the front page) who, if you click their names, you find have never made any posts, even if they have joined some time back ?

There's some online right now whose names I've seen quite often !   Do they just join to read; if so, thats OK, but you do wonder ...
