Can anyone help ? My grandad John Williams born 1913 emigrated from England to Canada with his parent Thomas Williams born 1890 and Louisa Williams ( Birtwistle)born 1890. They returned to England (Liverpool) in 1925 on the Montrose. They came from, and returned to, Rishton Lancashire
I am trying to find out when they left England but my ancestry subscription doesn't give me access to those records, and it will be a while before I can use the free library access. I don't have a clue when they arrived in Canada but am presuming it would be after the war. Happy to help in return if I can. Thanks
