Hi Renae,
I am trying to trace down this side of the family tree and would love to get in contact with you to exchange notes.
I have found a few leads regarding Thomas James Reynolds & Lucy Elizabeth Roberts/Smith (Florence's parents), I hope you are still around and manage to get in contact!
Cheers

Hi YS,

I haven't been able to get anywhere further with Florences ancestry. I hit a brick wall and lost interest at the time.

Here is an extract of some information from our family tree. Seems when Flo left William & family she went to Merryland Rd Merryland N.S.W. She wrote to the army to get a replacement for a badge that showed she had 2 boys in the army ( cost her about (2/6) .

She had several addresses after leaving her family behind at 102 Barkly St West Brunswick. She is shown as next of kin to both Percy Thomas Owen KIA Gallipoli 1915 and Thomas Hudson Owen KIA Bullecort France 1917, with addresses at 515 Park St. Park Hill NSW and 291 Merrylands Rd., Merrylands, NSW where she was in receipt of pensions for them both. She also had sons Walter & Alfred in service in the WW2.

I would love to know more about where her parents come from and any other info you have.

Cheers,
Renae
