Gorman Family in Preston

Hi,

I'm trying to find any information I can relating to my paternal Great Grandfather, William Henry Gorman, and his parentage and whether he had any siblings etc. 

As far as I can find he was born in or around Preston in 1866 (his father was possibly named Francis) and in 1895 married a woman named Martha Alice Moss.

Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated as it's the one area of my family where I seem to keep hitting brick walls!

I can't understand why young Wm Hy is listed as only being 3 years old on the 1871 return, but here is the birth of his younger brother and this one looks correct .. ?

They were awfully young to be married in 1853    but have you seen the Gorman children with the mothers name Burkey on Lancashirebmd.
