Joe, Welcome to rootschat.

have you checked out "your Surname Interests", the link to which is at the bottom of this page?  Also why not put your Lovells there so that if someone looks at a later date they will find you and contact you?

Good ... now you just go on with your digging and hope that someone sees your surnames-- can be a long wait but it is a matter of trying every avenue.

I am connected to the Pitt and Brice families of Northington and Swarraton and I am sure there has been a marriage with a Lovell.... I will have a look.
Names :Scriven, Parlour, Vaughan, Pember,Price, Thompson, Rennie/Roney, Hannon,Taylor,Pitt,Brice

So sorry, I do have a Lovell connection, but it is in Cambridgeshire. I have the Pitt and Brice families in Northington/Swarraton.

Thanks for that.  I havn't any Lovell connections with Cambridgeshire yet, or with the Brice/Pitt connections in Northington.
Have you managed to find any transcriptions of Northington parish records anywhere?

Unfortunately not... I had to visit the Hampshire Records Office and plough through the microfiche files.

A task not made any easier by some records of Swarraton being destroyed and some too faint to be legible.

I do have a disk of births and marriages though...so if I can help in any way?

I would be most grateful for any info on Lovells in Northington.
In particular marriages of William Lovell to an Ann before 1793, and any marriages of John Lovell to an Ann before 1764, and another John Lovell to another Ann before 1747.
If I gave you my e-mail address could you send me a copy of the disk.
