It looks like we all assumed that Peter settled in Montreal when in fact he travelled across the country to Vancouver, British Columbia.
There are two possible death entries in the British Columbia death index. One possible death was for Phillip Peter J Lloyd who died 6 Feb 1948 in Vancouver at the age of 57 which would make him the same age as your Peter.
The other death was for Peter Lloyd who died 11 Nov 1973 in New Westminster, British Columbia at the age of 87 which make him about 5 years older than your Peter.
If a look-up is done on your behalf of the BC Archives microfilm, the death registrations should give enough information to determine whether one of those is your Peter.
I couldn't find Peter Lloyd on the 1911 census in Canada.
