Thanks for the advice for Westcott Terrace. In fact I've managed to find it on the 1914 map given on
http://www.durham-images.org. It's the furthest northeast part of Brandling Street, and numbers downwards from 25 Westcott Terrace going south from the Givens Street intersection. And it's on Google Earth, so I can see where my grandmother lived at the time of her wedding.
