Another of the Ernest henry Warrens died in NSW in 1944. He's not yours.....but which of the ones in the electoral rolls he is, I have no idea.

One Index I want to search is at present down, and I don't know how long it will be before it is up and running again. Last time it took 7 days!  :-\

I'll have another try tomorrow.......and maybe some others will be around who have some ideas.

I have checked out all the other websites I can think of in an attempt to find more information for you both about Ernest Henry Warren, and Norman Claude Warren.....with absolutely no success.

I was hoping to check out the Ryerson Index, to see if there was an Ernest Henry Warren listed on there after 1978, but at present the search site has been disabled by the server because of too high a demand. It's unknown when it will be available again.  :-\

I double checked on the Ernest Henry Warren who married Essie Grace Lake and died aged 66 in 1970. I'm doubly sure he can be ruled out as there is an Ernest H Warren born in Waterloo NSW in 1903 to Frank E and Maud Warren. But that leaves three possible marriages....pity the NSW Indexes don't give fathers' names like the South Australian indexes do.  :-\

Fresh ideas needed from others, I think.......  :D

How about giving us  the date of death for Amy Campbell and  where she is buried.

It  might be possible  to  look for a funeral or death notice.  That  could say son Ernest of  .................

worth a try

Hello Jenn

Amy Eliza died on 30 March 1959, and her ashes were interred at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Sydney.  I have a strong suspicion that a death notice may not be very forthcoming ........ but, on the other hand, I could be wrong.

On another note ........ have you grown web feet yet?   The rain has only just made it down to us.

No web feet yet  but  enough water  to turns us all into frogmen and women.

Why  do  you  think  there was no  death or funeral notice have you allready looked for one?

Hi Jenn

I have to confess that I haven't looked for a death notice for something like thirty years, but I didn't have any luck back then.

Hi All,

I am so hoping that something turns up...

After going through, (again) all of the files on these boys sent to me by the National Children's Home...I would really like to be able to close it on a happy note...(i.e.hopefully, marriage/kids/a contented old age:-) At least something to make up for what happened to them...

Fingers crossed, eh??
Romilly :)

Would love to be able to help further, Romilly and Wombat.....

It's the Ryderson Index we need to check in case there's the death of an Ernest Henry listed on that. Unfortunately, the search facility and its companion Request a lookup facility have been suspended, so don't know when they will be available again.  :'(  :'(
