We have this info from our research and the  census .....  but and I say BUT , because of the age factor ....
Amelia = 30 years old in 1841 ...and , yes she could be 25  ....

I did not have the middle names for Amelia's children. I also only have the entries from the census that you posted on here for 1841 and 1861 for the Loram family.

John Davis's Will only mentions his wife Susanna and his youngest son Henry Davis. He willed that his remaining property of goods, chattels and effects, with all lands or other property to be divided equally between all his children, after his youngest son Henry Davis, shall attain the age of 21 years. (At the time of his death in 1811 Henry Davis was between 3 + 4 years old.)

I wonder if Amelia's other sister's Charlotte, Mary Anne and Harriot married and had children?

How do I confirm that William Davis + Joan Gale are John's parents, as they would have died long before any of the census were taken?

So many questions??, is there answers to them all.

I have been going round in circles this morning looking for anything on Amelia's sisters . As yet I cannot link them to anyone on the censuses . 

I have however been looking into Matilda;
63. Matilda Sarah Stockham Davis c 1844 Taunton, Marr:
           Unknown House, had Children: William H, Alfred A,
           Francis T, Walter.

I have found this family in 1881

William H House 16 printer b ditto

walter House 4 b Somerset Taunton

But in 1871 we find them again ..Matilda has her husband William Augustus HOUSE, 35, school master. Matilda is Matilda SOPHIA House, 28 schoolmistress b Taunton.

Thanks, I have made a note of that, and thanks for doing all that hard work, tracking down the correct Matilda.

I'm sorry I do not have anything to add today, as it was my Birthday yesterday 24th Feb. My husband took me out during the day, and then again last night. I was only home for the short time I had to post reply 31. But I have already started to search today, I will see what I can find as well.
