Sims/Purnell

I am completly stuck!!
Have Henry  Remington Sims and his wife Ellen(nee Purnell) on the 1881 census with little Henry 11months,living on Frogs Island, Egham Surrey.
Henry says he was born in Westminster and is aged 66, which is either a lie or a mistake as I have his death certicate dated 8-1-1900 and his age is 68! Henry and Ellen had 3 other children William b1883 Louie b1885 and Edie b1887.
I cannot find their wedding certificate,or any record of Henry's birth.I have Ellens she was brn in Wiltshire.
Anybody got any lead on this little family?

Sorry, think I will be only adding to the confusion here but the only Henry R Sims to fit your second age (b.1832) appears on 1871 with a different family. He may not be connected but it just may be a first marriage.

The guy in 1881 does seem a bit old for a first marriage with young children. I'll have another look around.
