Thank you for taking the time re my Roe's.  Re a death for Alice, I seriously do not know, unfortunately I haven't got that far yet, all I know is that Herbert stated that his father was deceased at the time of 1911, but Im unaware in respect of his mother.  Im presuming though there might be reference to her full name i.e Alice Ann Sellers Roe or at least the initials if she were to have died, but then possibly not  ,
