Hi Jenny,

What sort of date range are you looking at for John and Mary?

Didn't think anyone would reply that quickly, thanks! John and Mary both born around 1741! My ancester Benjamin (born 1773) was their son!

Hmmm.  A bit beyond me!  The Suffolk Surnames list is a useful site - use the Parish Record Lookup List link on the left menu, then scroll to the bottom and use the The Parish Lookups Page link.  Select [m-r] at the top of the table and then that will take you to a contact who has access to the Parish Registers of the place you are interested in.  I understand that this is an entirely voluntary service, but I have used them in the past and they are very helpful.

Jenny, I'm sure some Suffolk searchers will come to your aid, but in case they don't, there are some Hollocks Suffolk deaths/burials on:
www.familyhistoryonline.net
(register to search and pay to view record, which often does not contain much information - site is closing down soon   :'()

still looking for family members and stories about hollocks family from preston st mary and sudbury in suffolk! would love to hear from anyone that can shed some light on the parentage of my gt grandmother mabel holocks. I know her mothers name as i've traced the hollocks line but any memories to do with mabel and her mum fanny rosetta hollocks would be welcome!
