Kings Norton farm BELLINGHAM/BILLINGHAM
« on: Monday 16 February 09 11:10 GMT (UK) »
My mother used to speak of spending time visiting relatives at a farm in Kings Norton, probably in the 1920/30s.  I believe their name was either BELLINGHAM or BILLINGHAM.  But I can't seem to find a record - if anyone has any leads I would be very grateful.
Best wishes
Judith

Thank you - my Bellingham/Billingham family were miners, originating in Shropshire.  James Bellingham, a miner (b1805 Lilleshall) moved from Lilleshall to Tipton where he married Mary Ann Law (b1820 Tipton).  Their children were Betsey, Martha, Timothy, Phillis, Uriah, Jane, Elizabeth, James & Mary Billingham.  Jane, my great-great-grandmother, married Frederick Walker (1900 Kings Norton).
