Hi I am new to Rootschat and my family links into the Wilson's and Burnsides tree. My Great Great Grandmother was Fanny Wilson (married name Skelton). Fanny Married Arthur Skelton and had a son Andrew Skelton. Andrew Skelton Married Amy Eldridge and they had a daughter Marjorie (my nan). My nan Marjorie was still travelling until the 1960s when the family settled in East Sussex.

I understand that Bella is my Great Great Grandmothers sister which is exciting and I now know that my 4x Great Grandmother is Hannah Wilson (maiden named Burnside).

If anyone has any information to help to add to my family research that would be great. I would love to see a copy of the photograph of Hannah Burnisde which I believe exists.

Thanks
Sam

Hello

My great great grandmother was Bella Wilson, who married William Foster. Both travelling people as are all my family. So Hannah was my great great great grandmother. She married young to Terance Rafferty, who unforturnately died leaving her pregnant and with a young family. She went on to have more children to Andrew Wilson, however we believe they never married as her death certificate gives her name as Rafferty.
Also to let you know my Dad knew Fanny and Arthur when he was a child as his family travelled with them.
I do have a copy of the photograph which I can let you have. I obtained it from another Wilson desendant.

Blimey, Can't believe it! I'm a grand-daughter of Andrew and Amy Skelton. Fanny was my great-grandma! If you've got any old pics or stories, I'd love to see them.

I'm putting together as much of our family history as possible for the next generation. Any stories or pictures of the people, vans, vehicles or anything, gratefully received. The rate I'm going there could be a book in this!
Cheers, everybody.
