Hiya,
Afraid not. I have had to put a back burner on the research due to illness. I am however hoping to restart it again very soon. Did you find any further info that you would be so kind to share with me? x

Sorry to hear of your illness. I also have not done any research lately but I hope to get going over the summer. If I come across anything I will pass it on

Hiya,
That would be brilliant- thank you som mcuh for all your help, very much appreciated!
I am very keen on trying to find any info on Peter Birmingham and his wife Bridget Corless. I have yet to find this info, it is so hard to try and gather info to enable me to work back a line from these pair!
Hope to hear from you soon

OK I will keep an eye out.
I have come across a bridget Bermingham in Tuam around 1830's in Griffiths vauation online-might be worth a look.
Bye for now

I am sorry about the illness and do hope that the situation will improve.
Please do make contact with the Athenry Heritage Centre (contact details I gave before); they are very helpful there.
Happy hunting

Dear Hodgkiss,
I came across this site and it might have something for you
http://www.tuamfamilyhistories.com/church_records/tuam_baptisms/tuam_baptisms_b.htm
It lists a John Birmingham born 1868 in Tuam to a Peter Birmingham and a Bridget Corless,
bye for now.

John Bermingham, Esq. J.P. Millbrook, Tuam
I'm not sure what the J.P. stands for..
Would J.P. be Justice of the Peace. Any upstanding layman can be a JP and sit as judge in local court sessions?
