my  g gandfather is Thomas Bell and wife Mary Bell ( Dawson ) born ireland

my g g grandfather is Robert Bell and wife Margaret  Bell ( Allen ) Born Ireland

James was son of Robert Bell  Thomas brother.

Robert also had jane,thomas.robert,james,margaret and william,matthew Elizabeth

i did not know about matthew and elizabeth .i think that john went to canada and died  there at a very young age . stoor

thank you for your dads name .i have just written a letter to canada its still open so i can add that bit to it .james worked in the mine and he had an accident which meant that he had to leave .so he started up on his own selling coal . but most of the allen and bell familys were self employed . somewhere i have a photo of james at a family party . james has a g  granson  .called michael he is a doctor ,and 2 years ago  he came to briton with his father allen .i think it was a birthday treat for allens 70th .allen is the son of grace .they met up with me .i write to stanleys son .
