Tay,
I can confirm Merryderry's dates and add James born 24 Dec 1873. John may be missing because this was the year when civil registration became compulsary and it was some time before people complied fully with the law.

Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh

The actual marriage certificate should list the names and occupations of both fathers.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

hi tay,

there is a mullaghbrack townland and a mullaghbrack parish. there is a robert bell in griffiths valuation of ireland (1864 in this case) in the townland of hamiltonsbawn, parish of mullaghbrack.

http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/gv_family_search_form.php

type in his name and mullaghbrack for the parish then when you get a result click on the map icon and you get a map from the 1850's,which you can fade in and out with google maps. it takes a bit of getting used to but it is fun :)
