l have just found out that my family are from Mullabrack Amargh not 100% but would ask for any information, l have Robert Bell born in 1839 and married Margaret Allen ( ll think ) 1842 they
had they had ( S ) John 1864( B ) Ireland - Jane Bell 1867 (B) Ireland Thomas Bell 1869 (B) Ireland he is my G G grandfarther - Robert Bell 1872 (B) Ireland - James Bell 1874 (B) Ireland then they had more children in Co Durham Tanfield. so after after James they decided to come to England.

l have found l think they lived in Mullabrack Amargh, not sure what they did or anything,

If anyone has any info would be very grateful

they came from derryraine .mostly farmers .and shop owners . most of them went to canada and america .my great uncle was named james .father robert bell mother margaret allen . i have no link to any members  of the family only james family in canada .and they don,t have any links other than me . do you know anything about the younger children who were born in england ? .

Hi Stoor sorry have not been back to you have not been around sorry

i have not got alot of info on the family yet as l have only just started to be honest,

all the family are from co durham and my grand father was Matthew bell and married to lilly bell ( bates ). l will get some information for you and post it

to be honest l have not come up with any info on james yet as l was looking at the direct line.

l do have relatives that have gone to canada but was not aware that any in the line had already gone so that is good news.

l promise i will be back with more info when i find it

james bell married a childhood friend from derryraine in canada in 1902 .she travelled to canada to get married .his birthday was 23 oct 1873 .her name was isabella allen .they had 4 children 1 boy3 girls .they had 9 gc .3 girls 6 boys .3 boys are called bell . he lived until he was 90 .
