« on: Tuesday 10 February 09 15:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here attended Wilson's Grammar School when it was in Camberwell (south London)?

I am trying to find out more about the school and have some questions if anyone can help!

Thanks for that info queenwillow but I am trying to find out about the building the school was in when they were in Camberwell.

I have already seen the school's website but it didn't really help with the info I am after.

Hi.  I attended Wilson's in Camberwell from '52 to '58.  i have a copy of 'A history of Wilson's ' which was a prize, for art I believe.  I may be able to help with your query.  If you're on Friends Reunited, this could be useful, too.  One of my contempories has written an up to date history, and there is a link in the 'message board' section of Friends Reu.. Wilson's section . Regards Ted

Hi Ted,

Thanks so much for your reply. I will send you a Private Message if you don't mind. I have managed to get a copy of the book 'A Short History of Wilson School' so that has answered a few of my questions already!

And thanks for the idea about Friends Reunited - will definitely look into that!

Hi again
You could contact me via Friends Reunited, (Wilson's Grammar School Class of  58).  The link to the alternative history is on the message board for Wilson's under the subject 'A History of Wilson's for sale', although the download for the alternative history is free!
Regards Ted

I was at Wilson's in Camberwell from 1958 to 1965. What would you like to know?
