This is a photo of my grandma and her brother Ronald ( who died a couple of days later born in 1912- she was the only one of several children that survived)  The lady is believed to be the midwife or nurse - but just imagine if that was one of the first faces you saw after coming into the world!!!! How scary???

I would love a clean up and maybe some work to try to make her seem a little less harsh - if thats possible

Your photo has made me smile so much  -  I love the look on the baby's face!   How sad to think one of these beautiful babies didn't live long - they look so bonny.   Hope someone can help you in your bid to perk the picture up a bit  - thanks again for making me smile on this dismal day.

The lady reminds me of Ena Sharples from the early days of Coronation Street. She looks so menacing

Yes the face does resemble Ena Sharples in her slightly younger days aged around 50ish. I can also see a bit of Phil Mitchell from EastEnders in there.
