Hi,
I missed this thread. Did not see the part about William Casemore Baston.
If you are interested, I can provide further information on the Casemores. The father of William Casemore Baston was most likely John Casemore, farmer of Ickford. It is is a bit of a mystery why William Casemore is named as father in the Nuneham Courtney PR. The Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Nuneham Courtenay brought charges against John Casemore of Ickford, Bucks "in a matter of Bastardy on the complaint of Mary BASTON, single woman".
William Casemore Baston is one of three known illegitimate children fathered by John Casemore with three different women. The other children were:
John bapt. 22 Feb 1807 Ickford
s/o of John Casemore and Mary Brock
Priscilla bapt. 11 July, 1810, Ickford
d/o John Casemore and Jane Freeman
There is no evidence of John Casemore ever having been married.
John Casemore bapt. 3 Oct.1810, Ickford, Bucks
s/o Richard Casemore and Mary

:)Merry Christmas to All
