:)

re ; the Manley family

In 1871 they are all in old Fore Street, Ships inn, Sidmouth.
Henry Manley mar 44 hawker b exeter
Matilda 47 b exeter
Robert 18 cane worker b Withicombe
William 16 hawker b sidmouth
James 14 b Bridport Dorset
pincis? son 6 b Ditto
Mary ann 4 b ditto
CHARLES 11months b LYME, Dorset

marriage
Henry Manley = Matilda Wells
Jun q 1847
 Bridport dorset
vol 8 pg 68

there is a Henry (37) and Matilda (38) Manly (sic) both born Bridport Dorset , in the 1861 census..they don't seem to add up to your family tho.

In 1901 I can see a Charles Manley and wife sarah living in Wellington, Somerset on Monument Hill in a caravan.
Charles is a travelling hawker, 31, b DORSET as is Sarah.
their children are Pearly 8, Sarah 5, Phinius dau 7 weeks, Caroline 7 and Charles 4, b Somerset.... all children except Charles b devon.

umm ... i am all over the place ... sorry .... they just seem hard to pinpoint.

deb
I think his relatifes still live up there
