Hello Kabeja.
Here is another Moody inscription that may be yours. It is from Crook Municipal churchyard. If you do not know the area, Crook is only about 3 miles from Tow Law.

In loving memory of Robert, the beloved husband of Hannah Moody of Institute Terrace, who died March/14/1899 aged 71 years.
Also the above Hannah Moody, who died May/1/1903 aged 73 years.
Also Elizabeth Ann, their daughter who died January/11/1900 aged 30 years.
Also Hannah, their daughter who died March/15/1872 aged 10years and 6 months.

Hello Adam,
The Moodys at Crook certainly seem to be our lot ! In the 1881 and 1891 censuses they are living at 22 Institution Terrace, Crook and Billy Row. The information i have for this part of the family is fairly limited but your information has filled in some blanks. Thank you very much for your time and effort.
Robert was from Tanfield and Hannah {nee Temperley] was from Shotley. As far as i know they had four children.
Catherine b.1857 at Blackhill, Co. Durham.
William b.1859 Wolsingham, Tow Law. This may well be the William you have on the MI from Tow Law, unfortunatley that MI doesn't have an age ! We don't have any other details for him about marriage or children but if it is our William then the MI at Tow Law says he was a father. Thanks for that, more research to be done. The private J.T. Moody may or may not be one of ours, another lead to follow.
Hannah b.1861, Roddy Moor, Hamsterly. We have very little more information on her but if this MI is the same family, which i am very confident it is, then i now know a date of death and will be able to obtain a death certificate. I had no idea she died so young !
Elizabeth Ann b.1870 Roddy Moor, Hamsterly. Before seeing this MI i had a possible death date for her as 1894. Now it seems certain that she died in 1900 and we should be able to obtain a death certificate for her to confirm this.
The only other information we have on this family is that the eldest child Catherine was married to John Pallister in 1880 and they had five children as far as we know. All were born either in Crook or Waterhouses near Esh. In the 1901 census they were living at Brandon and Byshottles, Durham.
Do you have any MI information on Pallister's in these areas ?
Not having lived in England for some years, and visiting infrequently, to have access to this  information is of great value to us and very much appreciated. Once again thank you for your time and effort. Keep up the good work.
Best regards.
Kabeja.

Hello Stratfordite. Here are the Tow law inscriptions for Moses and one for Mosey:-

In loving memory of Christopher Moses, who died 2/October/1933 aged 71 years.
And of his beloved wife Edith Jane Moses, who died 28/January/1935 aged 60 years.
Also baby Gibson 1897--1899.

In loving memory of Joseph, beloved husband of Phebe Ellen Moses, who died
3/July/1937 aged 78 years.
Also the above Phebe Ellen Moses, who died 24/June/1946 aged 84 years.
Also Evelyn Lidia Moses, daughter of the above (rest unreadable)

In loving memory of Annie Mary, beloved wife of William Moses of ???? Sunniside, who died January/2/1905 aged 35 years (this was difficult to read because the lead infill to the inscription has been removed)

In loving memory of Elizabeth, wife of William Mosey of Tow Law, who died August/5/1873? aged 70 years.
Also the above William Mosey, ?? August.
This stone has been vandalised? and is laid flat. It looks like it has been damaged by the constant wear of possibly the grass cutter.
