Hello Lynnej. The one Bates and the four Todd gravestones at Tow law are all after the 1950's, making them unsuitable to be shown on this page.

Hello patrexjax:- Only one small stone for Fairless :-

In loving memory of Sarah Fairless, who died February/8/1909 aged 9 months.

I looked at the total list of fairless named stones and was surprised that there are only 6.
And they are at Wolsingham, Tow law, Crook, Escomb.

Hello Adam, Thank you. As I suspected, most of my Fairless' from the 1900's were from North of the River Tyne -- my more ancient ones from 1700's were Co. Durham, but around Washington area, I think. The 1800's were, I surmise, a mix of the two as they migrated into Northumberland.  Thanks for the look up.   :D   Pat

Hello ivonne. There is just this one from Tow law:-

In loving memory of Thomas Rowell of Ivy cottage, who died January/26/1895 aged 87 years.
Also Jane, wife of the above, who died september/1/1897 aged 83 years.

Were your family Catholics? This couple are also recorded in the Catholic records for St Joseph's at Tow Law.
