« on: Wednesday 04 February 09 11:56 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have just started research and already confused and stuck  .

I am looking for marraige certificate  for my great grandparents but have no dates of marraige only approx year being 1895

Neither can i find birth certificates for my nan or grandad

Birth  would have been 1870

marraige would have been 1895

In Belfast area

Tried searching but cannot get the two names to connect if you know what i mean ,

Any assistance would be gratefully recieved

Looks like someone else is searching for the same family and has already been given some details here:

Not sure I understand your post. On the other thread Otto has found the marriage which you are looking for:
"Civil Marriage on 1st May 1918  George McBride married Brigid Reilly at Belfast Roman Catholic Church in the Parish of Belfast Urban 15 Civil District Belfast County Antrim."

There are also lots of sites listed on the other thread to help you search further.

LDS Pilot site now has index of civil registrations and with the details there (names, registration district, volume number, page number) you can order certificates.
