Hi Annie

Nothing on either name for Muirkirk Churchyard.

In the Muirkirk Cemetery , no GOLD's and only the following for GRAHAM -

no.44.
On a large monument to Covenanters: Erected In Loving Memory the faithfull and true witnesses, who for their adherence to the word of God and Scotland's covenanted work of reformation, suffered martyrdom in Muirkirk Parish 1680-85;

This monument says "John Brown of Priesthill shot by Graham of Claverhouse, 1 May 1685.

If you want all of the transcription please PM me with your email address.

The only other entry is -
no.314 (on a Scroll headstone)
In Loving Memory Peter GRAHAM 9th Sep 1899 aged 67

Regards
Sally

Hi SallyP
 I am researching a John Ballantine  and Janet Johnston wo married in Muirkirk in 1798. I cannot find deaths records for either and hope that you could do a lookup if thats possible Also I am looking for parents of those 2 and hope there is something attached to the marriage register or death register I know they moved about a bit but I am hoping that she maybe moved back to her hometown when she got old to be near family. The marriage date is may,20,1798 Anything you could find out would be wonderful.
Thanks Mac

Hi Mac

Nothing for your John & Janet or the name BALLANTINE. Lots of JOHNSTON(E) entries but death dates show no one that could be your Janet's parents.
