I am researching George & Rachel (Joyce) Fowler my husband's possible 2x great grandparents. I believe that my husband's great grandfather, Fergus Fowler, may be their son. Some of Fergus' children, including my husband's grandmother settled in the Philadelphia area, but often traveled to Amsterdam, NY.
I have been researching Fergus' siblings. I know that George, brother of Fergus, was married Mary Jane Hampton and then to Anna Eliza Craig and that he settled in Amsterdam, NY as did many members of the Fowler family.
Recently an album full of old pictures was found and there are very few clues to help identify the people in the photos save for the last name Craig. Most of the photos appear to be taken in the very early 1900's in Gloucester City, NJ. The business name of Chas. H. Craig, Gloucester City, NJ also appears on a truck.
I believe that there is a possible connection between Anna Eliza Craig and this album, so I am especially interested in researching the Craig family.
Thank you!
