« on: Tuesday 03 February 09 22:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Am seeking info on James Craig( my Gt Grandfather )born 1866 married Mary Jane Richardson 1895, children James 1898, David 1902 & Thomas Irad 1905. James was a Butcher, had a shop on Dunbarton street Gilford, his father also James was a farmer.

I believe my Gt Grandfathers siblings were Annie Eliza, Hannah, Rebecca, Martha & Caroline maybe more.

Anyone recognize any of the names?

Would love to know more about Butchers shop, no one seems to remember it  :(

Thank you so much for that info Balnacree, have been searching for Annie for ages with no luck, have now found them on the 1911 census and see the children were born in America! I still cant find a marriage for them, there is nothing on Emerald Ancestors and cant find them on 1901 census.
I have found 10 brothers and sister of Annie and have some info on most of them but some seem to have vanished ???

If you have any more info you would like to share I would be most appreciative  :)

I have been trying to find out who George was first married to, they had one daughter Anna who was born in northern ireland in 1881 and they went to USA in 1882 where he had three other children, his first wife must have died and then he married Annie Eliza.  I have some photographs of her which I will share with you.

Any information you can give me would be much appreciated.

I have a photo of James craig's grave, but I do not know which church it is at

will keep in touch
