Archibald Henry,TYresson,Cookstown

The  Henry family I,m researching lived in no 39 Red Row,tullyweary according to the 1901 census,
spelt as Archibold Henry,with wife Nancy,daughterLizzie and Nephew George Sampson Henry.
Icannot seem to find this family in the 1911 census, yet Archibald dies in Tyressan one year later.

can you post a link to the 1901 census entry as I am having difficulty finding anything even close to this Henry family.

Finally found the 1901 census entry but the details you posted weren't exactly accurate- The surname is HENERY and first name written as ARCHIBALD (signed with his mark), nephew was George S Henery-

Could this be Archibald & wife Nancy (Annie) in 1911? married 30 years so c1881-

Sorry Aghadowey about the confusion I mixed the census of 1881 in Whickham,Durham where Archibold was used.Don,t know about the 1911 entry,marriage seems a long way out, children could be right, Interesting entry in 1881 return,Rosanna Donnelly,step-daughter, aged 11 giving birth date 1870,same year as mothers marriage to Henry .Any thoughts.

It's not uncommon for census details to be incorrect- especially for semi-literate people like Archibald Henry.

You have a death for Archibald Henry in 1912 in Tyressan and his wife was Nancy Neill. There's an Archibald Henry there in 1911 with wife Annie (Nancy is another form of the name- 1872 birth for daughter Mary gives mother as Anne).

However, you need to read back to the start of this topic-
An Archibald Henry of Drumnaglough, Tyrone who died on 14 Sept 1905.

Thanks for the post.Yes am aware of the Henry family you speak about and the accident.

Hi Tullyweary is Ardtrea, Stewartstown.  Ardtrea itself is not far from the townland of Teressan/Tyresson.  They are both different places.  I think after Archibald died the family went to America, is that the same family or have I picked that up wrong?

I was going through some papers last night and actually found a copy of the Census with Archibald Henry on it.  I can take a look over it again and let you know what else is on it if you want?  Perhaps you already have all that information from it anyway?

No Tullyweary is in Stewartstown whereas Tyresson/Teressan/Terressan is in Cookstown.  So no they are not the same townland/area.

I remember someone saying the Henry family came from Stewartstown and where only in Terressan for a short time before the man killed himself.  The family then left and I am not sure where they went after that. 

I can possibly try and find out a bit more for you if you like?
