Thank you so much, you don't realise how much that has helped! Earlier I put a request on the Nottinghamshire board for Maude E A Truman born 1871 & she wasn't to be found! So two birds with one stone!
Many thanks for your time & for naming ALL in the household!
Kay

Hi Kay,

That's lucky then!  I almost always post all household members as you never know if they might fit in later.
Went back to double-check the image for 1901 as I obviously took the indexed Freeman as correct, but on closer inspection it definitely looks more like Truman, sorry about that

No apologies needed, I'm over the moon, everytime I get an answer on here it restores my faith in human nature - everyone is so generous with their time. By the way Fred was Maude's uncle. Her parents had both apparently died in the Mch qtr of 1899 & as she had no siblings & was still in Romsey in 1911, she appears to have settled with her mother's family.
Many thanks,
Kay

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

To send a personal message to someone, click on their name in their profile on the left hand side of any post that they have made.

Then click on the link 'send a personal message' under the Actions on the left hand side.

Or click on the personal message icon (looks like a document in a dark circle - if it is green it means they are online) to bring up the box where you can type your message.
