Navy photo query
« on: Sunday 01 February 09 21:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Can anyone help with this pic of my Grt Uncle Jack?

He served aboard HMS Ramillies during WW2 (and survived the war)

Although I know it's the navy, did they have different regiments like the army??

thanks
Carole

No, Carole, they just went (go!) to ships...

He was a Petty Officer...
One more charge and then be dumb,

I'm another clueless 'girl' :o  I take it it is just the insignia that is red, the rest of the badge navy (or all red) ::) ::) :o
